Yes, I’m commenting on my own post. I wanted to let readers know that HomeAway.com finally agreed to post my less than stellar review of a Norway vacation rental today…but it was after much back and forth with their customer service team and after sending them a link to this post. I daresay the average traveler probably would not have put forth the effort to get a comment posted on the site. So my advice remains the same: take the commentary on these vacation rental web sites with a grain of salt. Chances are there are many dissatisfied vacationers like me who had their reviews rejected and didn’t fight to have them posted.
